Ho Chi Minh City Museum — Smart Museum

Ho Chi Minh City Museum Smart Museum is part of a digital tourism and remote museum initiative in Ho Chi Minh City, enabling visitors to explore cultural and historical exhibitions without being there in person.

The project brings the museum's exhibition spaces online, allowing the public to view artifacts, display areas, and historical stories through a digital museum experience.

For this project, I worked across design and technical implementation, supporting the digitization of physical artifacts into web-ready digital assets. The work included scanning artifacts, processing 3D models, rebuilding surface materials, and creating visual assets for the web experience.

My role focused on preparing museum content for the digital experience: cleaning and optimizing scanned models, improving materials, supporting the visual direction of the online experience, and ensuring artifacts remained clear, recognizable, and accessible to remote visitors.

The project extends the museum experience beyond its physical galleries, supporting remote tourism, cultural education, and digital access to the historical artifacts of Ho Chi Minh City.
